would create a Urban Area Working Group with other Bay Area governmental entities to govern
expenditure of federal and state fiscal year 2006 Urban Area Security Initiatives Program funds and
that would make San Francisco the primary grantee and fiscal agent for those funds; further
authorizing designated City and County officials to execute and file on behalf of the City and County of
San Francisco any and all documentation necessary to apply for and receive federal and state
financial assistance under the Urban Area Security Initiatives Program and other federal and state
homeland security programs for the period of December 1, 2013, through December 1, 2017.
