the report by the Office of the Legislative Analyst. Discussion will also include San Francisco Unified
School District (SFUSD) programs, possible partnership with City-funded Workforce programs and the
possible partnership with labor organizations, especially the San Francisco Building Trades Council to
develop outstanding and effective School to Career and Vocational Education initiatives. Also consider
the potential that such programs can have a positive impact on problems such as truancy and
incidences of students dropping out of school.
