Resolution urging the Mayor to direct the Director of Human Resources as part of future contract
negotiations to propose that the City should provide reimbursement for use of privately owned
bicycles by City employees and officials as part of the employees' benefits and that such
reimbursement should be contingent upon the use of bicycle helmets and urging the Department of
Parking and Traffic to work with the City Purchaser to develop a feasibility study and purchasing plan
regarding the purchase and maintenance of a pool of bicycles to be used for City business.
