Ordinance amending the Administrative Code to establish an Office of Food Security Coordination within the Human Services Agency, charged with coordinating citywide efforts to address food insecurity among San Francisco residents, preparing a Food Security Report every five years that examines the scope of food insecurity among San Francisco residents, developing and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the City’s food services and resources, and coordinating and planning strategies and programs to meet emergency food needs.
