Resolution establishing a Safe Haven for Newborns Task Force charged with determining how to implement SB 1368, which provides for the safe surrender of unwanted newborns. The Task Force shall be comprised of one representative from each of the following agencies or organizations: the Department of Public Health, the District Attorney's Office, the Fire Department, the Department of Children Youth, and their Families, the Juvenile Probation Department, the Youth Commission (or their designee), the San Francisco Unified School District, the Mental Health Board, the Department of Human Services, the Police Department, and a member of the community with expertise in the area of domestic violence.
