Hearing on the Recreation and Park Department's project to build a new Minnie and Lovie Ward Recreation Center. Specific issues to be addressed include: 1) The rationale for closing the existing recreation center in July 2006 when the new one is not expected to open until December 2006 at the earliest 2) The department's plan to provide alternate services during the period of time after the old recreation center has closed but the new one has not yet opened.
