Title: Charter Amendment (Second Draft) to amend Sections A8.428, A8.432, A8.509, A8.587-2 and A8.587-13; adding Sections 12.204, A8.409-7, A8.432, A8.526-2, A8.526-3, and A8.590-8; and by repealing Sections A8.526 and A8.526-1, all to reduce employer contributions for retiree medical benefits for employees hired after June 30, 2008 and retiring from the City and County of San Francisco with less than 15 years of credited service; increase retirement benefits to eligible employees who retire on or after January 10, 2009, to encourage longer employment and retention; and to fund retiree health benefits for the City and County of San Francisco and other participating employers.
