Ordinance retroactively authorizing the Public Defender’s Office to accept and expend a grant in the amount of $250,000 from the Crankstart Foundation, and a grant in the amount of $35,000 from Kelson Foundation, to expand by 25-30% the capacity of the Clean Slate Unit to meet the increased demand for Clean Slate services for the period of January 1, 2021, through December 31, 2021; and to amend the Annual Salary Ordinance No. 166-20 (Annual Salary Ordinance, File No. 200568 for Fiscal Years 2020-2021 and 2021-2022) to provide for the addition of two grant-funded positions, one FTE in Class 8177 Attorney and one FTE in Class 8173 Legal Assistant.
