Title: Resolution urging the Municipal Transportation Agency and the San Francisco Unified School District, in consultation with the San Francisco County Transportation Authority, to coordinate on a process by which the Municipal Transportation Agency would, as an expert consultant to the School District, (1) review current expenditures, routing and vehicles used under the School District's bus transportation service contract, (2) assist the School District in formulating future Requests for Proposals for such services, (3) advise the School District on overseeing the contract for such services, including overseeing the contractor's routing decisions, (4) assist the School District in analyzing school bus emissions and alternative fuel bus technology options for transportation services, and (5) review MUNI routing and schedules on lines frequently used by K-12 students going to and from school.
