Resolution authorizing the Sheriff’s Department to retroactively apply for, accept, and expend $300,000 in funds from the Bureau of Justice Assistance, through the Second Chance Act Prisoner Reentry Initiative; the No Violence Alliance One Family Reentry Initiative will provide a comprehensive, family-focused continuum from in-custody to post-release for sentenced probationers incarcerated in the San Francisco County Jail with a history of substance abuse and minor children.
